IconX freezes on "Please Wait" Splash Screen - Vista Ultimate

Morning all! Just today IconX has started to give me trouble. I apply a new icon set and it seemingly freezes when the "Please Wait" splash screen comes up. This also happens when applying a suite. I've uninstalled/deleted icon sets/reinstalled to no avail. When I end task on IconX, it does apply the new theme. Thoughts? Suggestions? Thanks in advance!

What else changed that may have caused IconX to change it's behaviour?

Hm, I thought IconX is not Vista-Ready ?

Good point.  The last update was still "in development" for release in spring of 2007.
Last released build was 1.11.008 on 2/6/2006

Maybe you were lucky it was working until Vista updated something.

Perhaps that's it (beasta...vista ready). I submitted a ticket, we'll see what they say. :)

I think he meant IconPackager not IconX, since you're talking about icon sets :)

Is there a "please wait" dialog with IconX or IconPackager?
OP also mentions a hang when applying a suite.

Crazy man, crazy.

Doh! IconPagcker, not IconX. Still getting accustomed to the customs... heh... It seems to occur anytime it's applying icons.

What version of IP (in SDC)?
What IP are you trying to apply? (give me just one example even if it happens with all)
Do you load the IP and then apply?  Or just select and apply?
