Quarterly Reports: Last Among Equals

It seems like the Quarterly Reports (both DL and DA) have always been extremely biased against the player in the list of top civs. I've been in 10th place before where I was three times as large as the next largest civ, and #1 in all but a couple of individual categories, where I was 2nd due to tie-breaker. It's pretty annoying that my efforts are not properly acknowledged in the Quarterly Reports.

IIRC, the quarterly reports are just about military strength, and I think the rank is based on area under the curve for the whole game, not your momentary ranking.

If so, that makes them pretty useless. So minor civs are in first place because they build one Defender early in the game? Bleargh.

Just like real quarterly reports! Give me Year over Year data at least...

I hadn't ever paid attention to those reports. I'm guessing that the way they work might be a reflection of early dev orientation to smaller maps and hence shorter games. If your game only lasts a couple of years, they might make more sense. I play long games, usually at least 7 or 8 years, so I've pretty much ignored the quarterly rankings.

What I'd really like is if the Min button on the graphs page in Colony Manager would remember the last custom setting you chose. Right now, Min=zero always, so your only one-click choices are to see everthing or nothing.
