GalCiv2 - Error with starbases! Ver 1.50.90

Hi, I've had several problems with the starbase graphic staying on the screen after they have been destroyed.

I'm playing the main campaign, and every time a dread lord ship destroyes a starbase it goes back to showing the first build, this does not crash the game, nor can you select it but you can build back 'over' it.

Its rather an odd bug - hope you can help.

System
Intel Pentium 4HT 3.80 and 3.79GHz
Windows XP - Latest Build
2 GB ram
Nvidia Geforce 7800 GTX (93.71 -latest driver-)
Xear 3D sound chip

Does the ghost starbase remain afer saving and reloading?

No - it does go if you save and reload.

some more info - I'd renamed the starbase, and I'm running in 1280x1024 res.

Please go to C:\Program Files\Stardock\Totalgaming\GalCiv2 (or wherever you installed the game at), open the debug.err file you find there in notepad, and copy/paste the contents into a post here. If this is a DA report, you'll find the debug in C:\Program Files\Stardock\Totalgaming\GalCiv2\DarkAvatar instead. This will give us some technical information that can help troubleshoot your problem.

OK, I've pinned down the fact that it has something to do with giving a name to the starbase, I called it 'Econ One' everytime I name a starbase and it gets destroyed by dread lords it turns ghost.

Hopefully you'll get to read this kryo - since there is only several hundred posts here already!!

So I take it you have tried *not* naming the starbases and in that case they disappear properly?

Yes, if you don't name them it seems to work properly. Thanks again.
