Nebulas and Cloacking

Hello

Have the dev ever considering implementing nebulas and ship cloacking in the game?

It would add a lot of depth to the game's strategies!

Technically there are nebulas in the galaxy background, but I dont see why a cloud of interstellar gas and dust would be much fun? Except maybe to hide in it like they like to do in Star Trek. lol. And I seem to remember there being cloaking in GalCiv1, but i dont think it worked the way youd want cause I never used it. ::shrugs::

GalCiv 2 doesn't have cloaking, or nebulas... yet. There are two reasons why they don't.

First:
Sardock is a small company. They can't afford to program every program in possible feature.

Second:
Even if stardock were to program in every possible feature, there will most likely be problems. There is game that has every feature you can think of. Its called Space Empires V. The problem is, it has about as much bugs as it does features. In addition to that, I haven't seen the AI use all of the features, or even play that well, even on hard mode. For instance, the AI often forgets to load their carriers with fighters so they can launch them in compat, or in another system.

I hope this helps.
