A quick question

from GalCiv2 Forums
If I want to just modify the planetimprovements.xml file,
where do I put it in the mod directory?

Right now I am showing two of every improvement.

I haven't tried it myself, but some modders report that placing the files in Mods/XXXXXXX/data instead of the appropriately named subfolder will cause the game to use that file instead of the original, instead of in addition to it as it would if you put it in the subdirectory.

The problem was that I had the same file in two different mod directories--the default and one of its subdirectories. I guess the game reads both and so I had
a double set of planet improvements.
