No econ station research bonus, unnessary design carryovers, adn some other bugs.

Forgive if these have been posted already

1. Econ starbases don't give research bonuses (according to details).

2. When I was going into the full tech scenario and checking out the different race hulls, all my previous designs (with a human player with human hulls) showed up really screwed up, mostly with wacked out stacks of items and some not even showing at all. Please have it that previous designs only show up IF you're using the the same basic ship design tree.

Thanks

Firstly neither of these are bugs. Design choices, and if you don't like them then sorry, but live with it.

1. Well obviously, it has nothing to do with the economy. Manufacturing, trade, and money do.

2. I like this, useful when I make a good ship. But I delete ships between each game anyway. Most people complain about the lack of ways to carry a ship over, so don't hold your breath.

I think it would be nice if all jewelry was removed if there is a design being used from a different original hull type. Because at the moment they always just look absolutely ridiculous.

Except for the fact that when you build an Economy Starbase, it tells you it adds a percentage to Research, as well as the others...

It is supposed to increase research. I believe that this was fixed in 1.1 beta 2 though.

It does, they stated they fixed that, Econ Stations provide bonuses to all three. Soc, Mil, and Res.

1. Will do
2. I'm not very keen on playing betas, especially with a bunch of crash bugs reported.
3. Perhaps, but things such as the ship design carryover problems, I think should be reported.
