Influence

Ok. I wanna know: is ''Influence'' the same thing than Cultural power? Does a high influence (with Embassies or influence starbase) make other world swing into your camp? Does the influence starbase boost your influence in only planets within its range, or if I boost the influence of my core worlds, there will be a chain reaction (like there was in GalCiv1?) helping to expand all my borders?

And when I buy ''influence'' to other civs, does that mean that my borders will get a littler bigger? or is it something else?

There was 2 things in Galciv 1: Star Influence (used for UP votes) and Cultural Power. What now?

Having high influence wil make the other world swing into your camp, yes.

Not sure about the other things. When you buy "influence" from other civs, it does not increase your border. It gives you more UP votes.
