Hey All,
We're now on October 23rd. We still have 8 days left in the drive and looks would probably entail we're coming up a bit short. As a community member and as if there weren't enough, is there anything can suggest to help the drive or help the aftermath?
I have been thinking these past weeks about a pretty good idea. Perhaps already expressed in other postings of which I haven't ran across..
I believe that it would be a good idea and in WCs best interest to probably implement the "Subscriber Only" access plan to the site talked about.
However, It would also be a good idea to put all "freeloaders" on a 10Mb per Month limit. Like any great software out which would cost money perhaps the 10Mb per Month limit for freeloaders could last say... 90 days and then require subscription to continue using WinCustomize. I would find that to be fair.
So to start off topic..
-If anything, don't purchase a WC subscription for anything other than to help out a community of which you enjoy and take advantage of the artistic works posted.
-Look forward to all of the great features entailed with a WC subscription. I don't even use all of the features and I've gotten my moneys worth. Keep in mind the WC Browser! A fully functional and "Stardock Product integrated" Browser for WinCustomize.
-And for all subscribers that suggest and "powers that be".. DO consider my suggestion of the 90 day "trial" membership. And perhaps the 10MB per Month for those 90 days is harsh?.. Perhaps offer the 90 day "trial" membership (before requiring subscription to use the site) as "unlimited". Perhaps allowing SOME WC Subscriber content available as well and untilimited downloads to the rest.
This would allow the "non-subscriber" to get some of a taste of what a WC subscription is all about? Think about it!.. I believe it would help to convert people.
Well, hopefully these are some valid ideas. And hopefully the "powers that be" respond so we can all get a good idea of the end of drive results as far as non-subscriber access and such.
