Bug: Approval won't excced 96 %

Hi,

I noticed that my Approval does not excced 96 %, even though the modifiers sum up to much more. In the attached screenshot the Approval should be 151 % but is stuck at 96 %. I am playing with all DLC (including Megastructures) version 2.92 and veryfied the game files via Steam.

Yeah, that has always been that way. The idea is that you can never ever really please everybody ! Having said that, with enough bonus and cultural traits it is possible to push it all the way to 99%. That 100% though will always be elusive

Yeah, as Draver said its intentional. No one is ever 100% happy. There are diminishing returns after 96%. Its pretty severe so really no reason to push past that. Someone did claim to pull off 106%. I didn't see the save myself so I cannot confirm or deny. However, when your doing that your better off raising taxes or reducing or taking approval penalties for powerful bonuses.

Thanks for your replies! So, it's not a bug, it's a feature. I thought that Approval < 100 % means a malus to production, etc. while Approval > 100 % gives a bonus. At the very least, the UI should be udated to reflect that Approval cannot exceed 100 %.

I mean approval having a hard cap of 100% is pretty self explanatory. You cannot have more than everyone approve of something. It's not intended you get approval > 100% but someone claims to have done it. Could have been mods though.

Seems odd.Just cap it at 100 lol and make that very hard to reach too.
