Faction Issues Under 1.71.495696

As shown in the first screen snapshot below, I have unlocked the Censorship trait under the Totalitarianism ideology.  It says "Factions have no negative side effects".  However, as shown in the second screen snapshot below, the Endless Emporium faction is still increasing crime, which brings up another issue: as shown in the third screen snapshot below, the popup description for the Endless Emporium faction says that the second effect is "Income bonus based on the members' Diligence" not an increase in crime based on the members' Diligence. This is something that I reported in previous versions, but here we are in version 1.71.495696 and it is still not fixed.

I strongly recommend that you assign someone to go through ALL of the factions to ensure that they do what they say they do.  I know it is more fun to work on cool new features, but I believe it is important to make sure that the game actually does what it says it does.  This kind of bug makes the game look bad because, while there are many calculations and abilities in the game that are difficult, if not impossible, to verify, having bugs like this that are very easy to see makes players doubt the difficult to verify items.

Here is another issue with the Endless Emporium:  I have added enough leaders to raise the discount when buying at the Galactic Bazaar to over 100% which, if I remember how math works correctly, means that everything at the Galactic Bazaar should be free.

However, nothing at the Galactic Bazaar is free. The second screen snapshot shows that Helios Ore is 110 credits.  There is nothing that I have been able to find that explains how the prices in the Galactic Bazaar are calculated so it is hard to point to a specific cause, but regardless of how the initial price is calculated, a discount of 100% should mean everything is free.

I suggest that you do 2 things:

  1. Make the effect of the Endless Emporium discount more transparent
  2. Limit the discount to a maximum of something less than 100% (unlimited free stuff is not a good idea!)

I am pretty sure that i mentioned this one a long time ago, but while I am on the topic of Faction issues:

Is the second effect of the Freemind Center an increase in Ship Range (a good thing) or an increase in Maintenance costs (a bad thing)?

If the effect is an increase in Maintenance costs, then please fix the text which currently says "Maintenance to all Ships to all their Ships".

Here is another piece of evidence regarding the Endless Emporium faction showing that it's second effect is Crime and not Income and that the Crime is not respecting the effect of the Censorship trait under the Totalitarianism ideology.

The first screen snapshot below shows that the Endless Emporium faction is contributing +7.80 to crime, but the Warforged faction is contributing +0.

The second screen snapshot below  from the Factions screen shows that the Endless Emporium does, in fact, contribute +7.80 to crime and that the Warforged faction does contribute +0.

The third screen snapshot below from the Ideology screen shows that I have unlocked the Censorship trait under the Totalitarianism ideology which says "Factions have no negative side effects".  It appears that the Warforged faction is respecting the Censorship trait effect, but the Endless Emporium faction is not.
