There's not much comparison. Without researching the exact figures I would venture to say that there are not more than 5 football players who make over 10 million dollars, yet there are probably triple that number of baseball players over 10 million. Yet football is far and away the most popular sport in this country. I know baseball players play 162 games versus 16, but the wear and tear on the body and physical exertion is probably equal nonetheless.
