To protect your MP3 files
1. Before you install this Beta release, back up all MP3 files that might be accessed by the computer, including those on removable media or network shares.
2. Install the Beta release of Windows 7; download and install the Update to Windows 7 Beta (KB961367) located on this page.

It does not appear to be available to general download, butch123....

sorry...while i was getting this info there were additional posts .... #2 and #3.

I really wouldn't rush to download and install this w/o a partition for it alone and MS assurance you can remove it w/o damage to your current OS.

This is a Beta...and it might work well, but could mess your OS .... so be smart and be careful, folks. MS won't fix it for free.

OK, then!

The Vista public beta was painless for me... and Windows 7 couldn't be any worse, So I'll be lining up in a few more hours to download it.
