IconPackager 3.99g.(b).064

will each new version be impossible to download and archive ?

Well everything's in the title (and subtitle ...)

Previous V 3.99.144 was unable to be downloaded and archived (well at least with SDC), now it's the turn of 3.99g.(b).064  :(

... and that even on server US1 or US2 ...

Anyone from Stardock to fix that point quickly ?

This update was quickly followed by IP 3.99g[b].065 which did download and archive for me on Vista x64. I'd just like to thank Stardock for these updates.... there'll be a lot of happy x64 owners out in StarDockland tonight, an excellent surprise.

Time to admire Cryo64 ExodoYQ 2.1 for Vista in all it's glory.

ps Icons look stunning now.

Ouch!! I feel for you Neophil, I wonder if it's anything to do with SP3, my 2 Vista x64 Boxes and a Vista x32 box had no problems with the 3.99g[b].065 update, though the earlier one refused to archive for me. Hope you can get some help soon :D

Regards,

Peter

I'm on Vista SP1 on all my Boxes, btw.

Oh, it's not new with SP3, it was the same with SP2 ...  ;)

Neophil I had both updates within minutes of each other, when I opened Impulse, I got the first one .064 , then when setting up widgets I got the second one, .065, through SDC, I don't know if that made any difference, , i'm still on SP2, and iconpackager working fine on my puter

I just updated to what it says is version 399.148(Impulse) How did I get ahead of everyone? Haven't tried this version yet, but it sure looks great:CONGRAT:

Finally they made available a version that actually runs on x64, loads ICL packages and saves customised packages correctly. However, there are still a few issues...
1) When loading new iconpackages from explorer, iconpackager64.exe that runs is not signed with a manifest
2) Lack of polished iconpackages from Stardock
3) The long obselute Microsoft Plus themes option is still there

And the last problem, which really is a feature request, is the lack of options for using icons for similar filetypes automatically (like using a icon intended for .wmv for .mkv, .ogm, .mp4 and so on).

I'm (still) not ... but i know where's the trouble ...

It comes (with SDC) if you check to "queue the icon set to be downloaded with" ... if you just download and archive IP V 3.99g.(b).064 (and still not .065 for me) the archive is OK
