TA final (1.9) - still black frame ships 1

As you can see this time they are not on the map display but in selection ( stacked ships) :

The "thing" with logistics 9 is actualy 3 autodesigned Phoenix M8 ships and the one with 3 is another ship.
The starbase is a resource (morale) starbase.
Playing compain , first mission.

Also as bugs consern the "space miner" freez is also not fixed - it was stack in "auto waitying" or something even after I researched "Space Mining" , had to click "stop auto" to make it tick :)

Also after I returned from posting this message (Alt-Tabed out of game to do so) I got "Invalid call" message box , after pressing OK game exited :(

The system is Vista x64 SP1 - no idea where you save dump/log files in it.

Run the game windowed instead of full screen. Set it to your screen size and it will look full screen.

And why I would do this ?

Because it generally prevents the whole "CTD when I alt-tab" problem?

Isn't the whole point of alt+tab getting to the desktop?

Isn't whole point of this thread to report bugs not find work around solutions for them ? ;)

You've reported the bug, now you can use the workaround so that you don't have the crash until we get it fixed.

Well if you want to keep getting the Invalid Call bug until we manage to track it down, you can go ahead and run in fullscreen.  However, I can tell you it's not something that we can fix in a day or we would have fixed it already.  We're working on it.  In the meantime, make sure that you have the latest video drivers from the video card manufacturer.  The drivers on Microsoft Update or your computer manufacturer's website won't be as up to date.

SmartException doesn't work properly in Vista and in any case, it doesn't give us any useful information from the invalid call bug because the crash is in a Direct3D dll.

OK , thanks for reply , I actually do not really care about this bug since when I play I do not do anything else, so if I need to exit I just save and exit. For me it's better then playing in window.

Anyway I just "nailed" another bug I saw from long ago but was unable to pinpoint the way to reproduce it.
The problem is that at some point planets stop producing ships. Now I know how to reproduce it 100% :

1. Set some planet to build a ship :) (normal ship not colony or transport). and hit "next turn" until it built.

2. When you get message that some planet produced ship (no autolaunch) select this message and hit "GoTO" button.

3. In that screen launch the ship you just built by double-clicking on it.(Notice that the same type ship still targeted to be built - you did not changed that).

4. Click "Done" button and close new events window if it still opened.

- Now check the planet in question - it's not building anything ...

Btw: I see the Vista crash had got your attention :) Are you plan to attend other bugs I reported above ? (the space miner bug is especially annoying).

Haven't had that happen to me, but the AI builds fleets of invisible ships that report just as those do (the empty frame). Additionally, the game crashes should any of these fleets that have invisible, black frame ships be engaged.
