images errors on DX stuff

I hope someone can tell me how to fix this. The errors are coming from
DesktopX Theme - Slider desktop By bilbo1930 & DesktopX Widget - Slider cpu-mem widget By I.R. Brainiac

Here is a screenshot with the obvious errors. Understand i have not made any changes to any system setting from the time I started using the desktop until the time the errors started. I used this desktop for about 3 days.

That looks a lot like what the person was experiencing in this thread: WWW Link

There's actually two suggestions in there, not sure which one or maybe both combined fixed his problem. You might give them a try.

hmm.. that very ugly.. (:(
Im use dx 3.2 stable on my vista ( not have problem with that).
Dx gave some problem with performance meters on vista.
If UAC on, turn off that.
Close all, try clear widget cache.
Delete corrupt desktopX desktop and download again.

great, im gonna try these and see what happens, thanks bilbo and daveRI. Just one question the cache for the widgets is not located where the xp cache is, so does anyone know where in Vista its stored at? i am going to look for it but maybe you can say before i find

ok i found it under C:\Users\%username%\AppData\Local\Stardock\DesktopX\WidgetCache, and yeppers that fixed it.. thanks guys

i have seen this as well when something else overrites an image in a theme/skin. happens. Clearing the cache is a great idea.
