The Krynn Consulate signed a peace treaty with us(?)

Ive had atleast two times that a empire, that I was at war with, signing a peace treaty with me without me accepting it or even given the option to accept it.

Is this a "feature" of some sort or a bug?

Bug most likely. Others have reported the AI getting other players confused with each other as well.

The same thing happened to me while playing the Dread Lords campaign. Not only did the Dread Lords sign a peace treaty with me and pretty much every other race that were in the mission, but also I could 'talk' to the Dread Lords and trade with them (but it would cost me a bunch of bc to get even the simplist of things >_>)
