When i make a new game (normal) and modify my home planet to PQ:36 make it look like Coruscant. This is gigantic map with very slow research speed. And also modify my stats: Courage, Luck, 20% economy, military and morale. Universalists, this will give me total of...
25% Courage (good defending)
25% Soldiering
50% Luck + (25% Universalists)
25% Economy + (5% Universalists)
20% Military
20% Morale
10% Defense (Universalists)
10% Population (Universalists)
6% Logic
???? (dont remember what the default)
Anyway when i get started expanding in all directions, by 200+ turns i usually have over 15 planets and funny several races have 3x more researchs and income than i do. My guess they had some really good research resources. I manage to build at least three trade routes becuz i was evil so there a chance it will kill my trade routes thru elections, another word evil players cant get more than three trade routes regardless.
My income is great by the time i start building alot of warships, for some reason it will destroys my economy. So it is how many planets you own to limited how many ship vaules you allow to have without going downward? Still like to figured out how my income been cut in half. I know that warships isnt free, but when i do the math i can have alot, i mean alot of them. For some reason it nearly destroyed my ecomony for unknown reasons.
I keep playing and i realise my income have been cut in halved by unknown reasons. So i was the lowest one in researching... then something weird happen, i had a tech jumps like 20+ free techs and some of them are very, very expensive. Some of them was very high mass drivers and i havent even start on them yet.
So play low with high luck value along with lowest research rank, trigger this? or just lucky??
PS: forgot to mention i have tech trading off!
