Registration expired???

Hi there, I was wondering if anyone could help me out as I have been having some serious problems actually trying to register this game! I bought a retail version of this game and so had to create a stardock account and download startdock central. I've done all of that, but now when I try and register Gal CIv2 via stardock Central I get a message saying my account information has expired! So I thought ok no problem, I'll just click the option to renew, but that just sends me to https://www.stardock.com/order.asp
At this point it looks like I'd have to purchase one of the products listed in order to renew my account! I don't get it. I've already paid for the game.....so now I have to pay to renew my account? All I'm trying to do is get the update!

Hi Jonny,

I'm not sure what you're seeing, but you don't have an GalCiv II registration under your account, which I think is the issue. Please go to the link below and register via the galciv2.com website and hopefully that'll fix things up.

Thanks loads for your help! I followed the link you gave me and was able to register and upgrade Gal Civ to V1.0x.1. I'm quite new at all of this so I'll probably be posting questions on here again before I know it! however do you experience frequent crashing with this game? As unfortunately I do

Nope, but do the following:

1) Update your video card drivers to their latest versions.

2) Update the game to v1.1 (just came out).

If you still have issues, please post back with your debug.err file (located in your GalCiv 2 directory).
