I have an icon problem.

I just started doing this today. I have found it to be great fun, but I downloaded and ran CopperdeckII icons. I can not figure out how to get my old icons back. Is there some way I can do this?

In IconPackager, at the top of the list of IconPackages is a set called Windows Default Icons. Apply that set. Voila

Windows Default Icons

I hope those were the icons Regor had before.

If I right click an icon (on my desktop) choose properties, customize (or Icon) tab, and change the image, is there a way to save that change in Icon Packager?

Save how? I'm not even sure IP will consider that a default icon if you switch back to default.

Maybe, just maybe...if you change it individually in IP...?

Hey it worked. I went into IP, clicked 'Icons and cursors' changed one then saved package as...gave it a new name (in this case Silver Plate Modified) now it's there and when I switch package and go back, the icon i picked is used.

This what you mean?

It's almost what I meant.

Let's say the original poster used IP to install apogee. But he hated the default folder. So he changed it to Windows default via Windows, not IP.
Later he buys a new PC. He wants the same icons. Wouldn't it be nice if he could save his settings without having to create a new package?

But . . if he knew that IP was a builder as well as a displayer . . he could do it from there. Cool.

Well, I did the save as so not to mess up the original.
You can just save if you want. Then it will save your changes to the original package.
