For me, even when creating the desktop shortcut this way, the result is the same, exactly like illustrated in the video clip in sdRohan's message above. All the ways to create a shortcut to a program downloaded from Microsoft Store, end in the same way.

Hi. I have no such folder for "S8" as you mention here. Under "Stardock" folder in this path, I have only S10. Btw, when I double-click the shortcut in the folder I've mention in my OP here, it redirects the Windows Explorer to "This PC"...

As we know, I can drag a program's shortcut from the Start menu into the desktop, taskbar and so on, and get it copied there, for a quick access etc. When I try to do that for a program I installed from Microsoft Store, the shortcut is indeed copied, and it does run the appropriate program, but the icon on this shortcut is not the original one from the program itself, but something default of the OS.
