I have been using Start 8 with the windows 10 tech preview for over 6 months with no problem yet when I got win 10 pro and tried to install the latest version it would not even let me install due to not having the right OS, I just used my backup copy Start 8 (1.47) that I was using on tech preview and it has no problem installing.
