I'm sure Morello didn't phrase his words perfectly as often happens during an AMA. I'm not sure what he said is that true anymore but not so long ago at a skill level higher than all of ours? I've watched a little Nightblue3 streaming here and there. If he wants to kill you, you're dead. Spam wards? Still dead. Play safe? Still dead. Be winning your lane? Still dead. Hide under your tower? Dead. Nerf his cha
Actually, competition has been mostly soft, so its a decent place for me to work on things. Alt accounts have been useful for me - particularly on champs I really, really suck at and would get stomped at on my main. I prefer to do the boot camp thing and then pop back to my main.
Not saying that's not a good method, and it's in fact the same thing I've done myself. Being abl
Not sure playing Rumble on a sub 30 account is a good idea. You kinda need some heavy offensive runes and masteries to CS decently with him and if you don't have them I'd think you'd be getting some negative feedback. For example, say you're pushed to tower and there's a damaged melee minion that you want to kill after it takes one tower hit. You use the perfect combo of your abilities and an auto attack to kill him. But you don't kill h
No offense taken.
I also have no idea how bainick ended up supporting in the last game when I thought he said he wanted to jungle.
He didn't want to jungle, he was willing to jungle because he was told no one else on the team knew how. He's a really good Support player who enjoys the role and tries to play it every chance he gets
Re: Kupopuffs Yeah, I like him. Nice guy, but goddamn there are too many Support mains running around. He's actually quite decent considering his time playing, but he's still in that phase of "Look at my new Leona rune page!" And I go "Uh... yeah. Lots of flat AP eh? Hmmmm..." Re: Blujay People who haven't played with you for years might now be able to pick up on the signs that it's not a good time to roust y
GP is actually completely legit in my opinion. Situational sure, but as long as you build stuff with at least some utility like Iceborn and use your ult intelligently to help your team, he's solid IMO. There's a lot of closet legit Supports out there that could be the new Bot Lane Shaco. Problem is, I think you'd need to play a lot of games to figure them out and I don't think you have the dedication/love for any one champion to do it. You like
I mean, you'd be wrong, but you could argue.
I do love to argue, so I'll take the bait. You love to split push. You do it a lot. I'm not an expert, so I don't know if you're usually making the best play or only sometimes, but I do know that you do it so often that it is impossible that it's always or even almost always the right call. <
ramblings continued - I don't think I've told you about my (former?) pal dxtrick. If you recollect, he was someone I met in team builder and we worked exceptionally well together in bot lane (him adc, me support). Anyway, we decided to play ranked, crush it a bunch, and have like an 80% + win rate together in ranked.
Yeah, think you told us about him in a post before. Said he is a Plat-Diamond sk
Thanks Pacov, but the shipping charges for $3 worth of soda is apparently $50. My strawberry cream flavored dreams of getting to Plat are as good as dead... even Shaq can't help me.
@ Swan I've been doing it all wrong. Like... all of it. - I've played Support a lot this season. And most of the time I've played LoL, I've been a Support main. - I've Duo'd quite a bit. My current Duo partner likes to play Tankmo Top. (sigh) - Lee Sin used to be one of my main Junglers. - I get sucked into arguments with trolls easily. - I have no access to Shaq Soda. I'm going t
Don't really care. Just talkin.
When you're talking about researching trends and win % as something that's fun for you, that's great and more power to you. We all have our different ways of having fun in that way. Some people like to specialize or "main" one champ and play that champ every chance they get, some people specialize in a
Re: Plat Swan CONGRATS!!! Re: Picking What You Love vs Trying To Pick Secret OP Let's be fair, Pacov's Ranked record with Nunu speaks for itself and the champ is one of a kind in a jungle that's had almost nothing but DPS all season. Dah Meta can shift which makes champs get better or worse without any changes. But... Nunu is a champ Pacov used to play and one that's not too mechanically difficult to pick back up aga
Well, one thing that has to be realized is that running all AD teams isn't a substantial disadvantage right now.
I'd agree to an extent, but would argue that it does matter a little and that would vary at different levels of play. Bronzies telling their team to build Thornmail to counter the fed Yi? Yeah... good luck with that. But I'm not convinced that building armor doesn't
I still see yasuo as a top tier pick due to carry potential, but there's actually quite a few things going on here. 1 - his ban rate is through the roof at 72%. This means that public perception of him is that he's OP. The kicker, when folks actually do get to play him, his win rate is at 50%... which generally indicates a balanced champ.
</p
I watched Swan play with him one night on Dadyrus' stream. He played Rammus and counterjungled DEEP constantly. Then he complained about his team not backing him up by doing damage when he just blazed away and left them far behind. Then he got mad cause all the people he fed started doing well, and got mad at all the people who lost their lanes... even though they hadn't really. Then he got so mad at his team that he got off TS3. So pretty much I'd

I just got back on the team and you're going to kick me off again? I would think that comedy that comes from Pacov's hatred of me playing Thresh with him bot lane would alone be worth having me on the team.
Ehhhh... If you had a totally awesome Tom Servo avatar that would be one thing... but... yeah... Crow? Eh... maybe... You have the same IGN Raynman? Mine's spelled a little different, it's Thundercleese. Or Thündercles if you're somewhat new to the game and want to play with me and my Bronze buddies on a lower MMR account. Or maybe you're former pro top laner The Rainman and we'd need to play with your smurf account?

The only thing that saved you from dying during that one telegank was that I panicked and thought it was Sy coming down to kill us all. Had I realized that it was an early game jungle Nasus... It w
@ Pacov One thing you might not realize is that there are a lot of retired great players out there who have given up their spots at the top because they'd have to earn them again and aren't into it anymore. If all those Plat and Diamond players didn't lose their spots every season and have to earn them back, I think a lot of those people would just play a game or two a month to maintain their status instead of just not playing Ranked anymore. That means less ro
Thunder has a few-hundred ranked games as well, but i know the past few months he's sort of regressed.
Yeah, I used to play Ranked because it was the best venue to challenge myself to get better but n ow I play because of a self destructive lag induced tilt spiral.
Different Queues = Different MMR system as far as I know.
re: thunders post - hey - whatever you find fun, bro. Hope you've been enjoying playing it up with you other pals, though. The other is getting really close to Silver so those games aren't n
@Cow n' the team Think I'm done with Ranked 5's. Been playing quite a bit on my smurf account and doing mostly Ranked games and some Normals with some lower level IRL friends along with also playing ARAMs more often along with some Teambuilder with MC folks. That has caused playing competitively with you guys to not be much fun any more for these reasons: - Trying to play as m
Yay! NA back online.
What Karl said. And... Try and be better about switching hats mid game. None of the old crew gives up on a games easily, so if we're fucking around it's because things are looking extremely grim. If we're going to lose, then at least the loudmouth Trynd needs to die first. If the other four people have essentially accepted our losery fate, try to get on board somehow? Doesn't mean we're not going to all put our try hard hats back on for th
