I didn't know this skinable software (which seems to be a crossing between Sysmetrix and ObjectDock) but i found it today quite by chance, and there's a lot of skins which are ported from WindowBlinds skins of guys uploading over here. It seems some have asked for permission, but i'm not sure at all every guys did. For example : http://www.desktopsidebar.com/fileforum/dsa576.jpg
Did brewman received an asking ? i personally did the winamp with permission from brewman but never received anything asking me to bring the winamp in a package ...

If you looked at the forum under rules for skinning, you would find that including permissions is a requirement for posting. Obviously not everyone goes by the rules, but most do (including me, since I use both)
