Pre-Purchase Question: Can one machine being controlled be in another room?

Hello,

I have 3 computers and I have run out of space on my desk.  One computer is a desktop and the other two are laptops, with one of them being 13 yr old laptop with a 17" display, running Win10 Pro.  I have moved my newer laptop (Win11 Pro) into another room in my apartment to use with a wall mounted Smart TV if I want to.  If I use Multiplicity would I be able to work with the computer in that other room from my desk in my living room or do the computers all have to be in the same room to visually see them and operate them?  They are all connected and shared on my home network.

Thank you.

Sincerely,

WonderWoman77

Hello,

From what I know, if you want to connect to another computer on another room you will need Multiplicity KVM or KVM Pro. These two can do Keyboard, Video and Mouse connection to one PC at a time or up to 9 pc with the Pro version. Please refer to the chart below. What you can do is do the 30 days free trial and see you can get what you expected to do.

Note: please ignore that little red arrow, that is for another user question how to upgrade from Multiplicity KM

Thanks
