Why does this happening? i've never had this issue before

hi, I've used this program several times. now I'm having these issues that I've never had before.

I have the latest version of windows 10 20H2 19042.685. I installed it a few minutes ago.

when I was installing fences (3.0.4.12) to be finished and later it couldn't create a folder portal and not even fences. 

as you can see the red dot below, I don't know what's going on. when i draw a rectangle on a desktop to create a fence nothing happens.

I even tried with the newer version fence (3.0.9.11). it was fine but I had to uninstall it because some folder portal would disappear after restarting or whenever turn on 1 or 2 portal disappears.

can someone let me know what would be causing these issues?

Please check if you have your fences locked and unlock it. Try that and report back.

I am sorry, I just notice, you are running Insider preview version of Windows 10. Please revert back to Official Windows 10 release and see if the issue still there.

when will you update your product?😕 this program is so great that people nowadays using for everyday life and other tasks.

there's no greater program like this. currently, I installed a program called tago fences and nimi places it doesn't have a good feature like "yours - fences + portals + desktop pages". 😔 (maybe I request you to make a standalone application for the desktop page 🤔)

please, update your product and make a version 4.x.x.x. while you can. 🙏

If a folder portal 'disappears' it is likely mapped to a portable storage device (USB stick) or network location that is not readily available at boot.

I can confirm this issue... I installed Windows 10 20H2 too and had exact same issue as @Rbk95.
I removed the 20H2-update which solved this issue.

I tested it on the latest Windows 10 slow ring build and Fences work - I can create regular Fences and Folder Portals:

If both of you are still having issues, I would recommend a purge and reinstall after you create a Snapshot (which will be preserved):
