Bryce hang ups

I don't use Bryce but have seen it in action. I have a basic understanding of it but am by far a novice compared to the ppl on here that use it...... I have learnt that this site doesn't like anything that looks "typically Bryce" and will reject work based purely on that.

So my question is this... how come I can sit and look thru the wallpapers and can tell instantly which ones were done on Bryce? Surely accepting the merits of the persons work and whether it looks good and will be appreciated by the other users is more important...... is that just me?

Some get in and some don't. After a while some of it starts looking the same. A bunch of tubes stretched and rendered. Oh well, I do like a lot of the bryce walls.
