Veeeeery Frustrated!!

I am posting yet another thread for help!!
This evening started my computer,it loaded up and everything was fine. I checked my e-mails,went on google for a while. I noticed after a while the top bar skin for WB disappeared and I now have the classic skin only but my task-bar skin is working fine.You can open Windowblinds and change the skins but only the task-bar changes.I am using WB 3.50.
I also logged on in Stardock Central and it told me my Object Desktop has 24 days remaining before it will expire, when in fact it really expires in July.
I cannot log in to the site like before. I t keeps sending me to Galactic Civilization home page. I also cannot change theme manager, it just wont change.
The message board (discussion) in Stardock Central says that they were all updated 61 days ago!!
EVERYTHING was working PERFECTLY this morning! Now EVERYTHING is in chaos and I didn't touch a thing. I am so frustrated and angry right now.
I had a whole set of problems similar to this about three weeks ago.What is going on!! Please help?

From what I can tell GG,Lots-o-stuff iz upside down right but most seem to be unaffected or not talking about it,Read other related threads for some of the fixes you might could fix.I think for the most part it iz out of our control.Use the back door or the window if the front door iz locked.

Gadget Girl: From the description you give. (Expiry saying 24 days, dates being 60 days out) it sounds very much like your system clock is set incorrectly. Either that or Stardocks is. If it's not your clock then it will probably be fixed as soon as someone from Stardock realises.

GG, from last time my OD subscription expired, component manager started warning me 1 or 2 months in advance. it is possible that is what is happening to you?

as for wincustomize problems, in the FAQ at the top of the message board there is a link for deleting all of the site cookies. i would recommend using this link repeatedly until all cookies are cleared out. i say repeatedly, since i have had to use it 2 or 3 times before now to clear out all the cookies when they get confused.

i have no idea what to make of the WB problem off hand. what OS are you using?

have you considered uninstalling WB, rebooting, and trying WB4 ?

try and think calm thoughts. i know, easier said than done, but i will try and help where i can.

have you checked your system clock as suggested? it is a good suggestion.

ah, i should have said only try WB4 if you are using winXP.

if you are using win98, no skins could be that you have run out of resources

for clearing out the cookies, you will of course have to log in again once you have done that successfully.

I am a little embarrass to say that last night I checked my calender for the month of June because I'm moving in that month but forget to put it back to April. I guess this is when everything went wrong.
What I don't understand is Windowblinds was in-installed or deactivated or something!! I deleted all TM files 3 times last night and have tried to re-install WindowBlinds through SC but it still does not work.
When my subscription is up,will Stardock Central deactivate all my programs because I think that is what it did last night.

GG, SC should never de-activate your programs. if they are beta versions then they might time out, but if they are final versions, then you are allowed to continue using them after your subscription ends. after all, you paid for them.

before commenting on the WB problem more, can you specify:

a) OS version

WB version installed
c) the nature of the problem. i am not sure what is going on.

No, you don't lose your programs when the subscription runs out, you keep what you have, you're just unable to update/download.

c)Everything is back to normal,everything is working again!
#8 explains what happened last night.What I don't understand is how Windowblinds
was un-installed or deactivated. I re-installed it 2 last night without success.
This morning I tried again and now everything is working fine!! It is incredible
how a tiny *system clock* can reek havoc in such little time.
I just find that since everything is installed through Stardock Central and if anything goes wrong it affects everything.
Another question- When my subscription is up,will I be able to still use Stardock Central and *discussion*

Gadget Girl: Beta versions will expire. That is the nature of betas. You will still be able to get the latest released versions.

Gadget: To partially answer that question just simulate the problem. In the ame way you accidentally simulated it already. Make it think your account should have expired and see what it allows you to still do. If you want to run the risk that is

if you are set to only show relased components, then you wont see any beta's.

the beta's have [b] after the version number.

Then I guess I have the final release version of 3.50, so can anyone explain to me why WindowBlinds un-installed,deactivated, or expired last night? It just would not work until I re-installed again this morning.

I did nothing to alter the program last night!

Another question- When my subscription is up,will I be able to still use Stardock Central and *discussion* Last night it was not working and supposedly my account had not even expired yet...

personally, with out some more clues, i have no idea what went wrong with WB. if you could reproduce the problem on demand then perhaps i could help. however, you probably don't want to do that

as for when your subscription runs out, perhaps best to email the question to support@stardock.com since i really don't know.

if you don't mind my asking, why aren't you going to renew your subscription? don't answer if you don't want to, i am just curious since i am quite addicted to my subscription

feline-I never said I wasn't going to renew my subscription! I was just upset that they were asking so much in advance to renew but of course it was my fault that started it in the first place!! STUPID SYSTEM CLOCK !!
