Daily Shot supports WinStyles and Screenshots. I prefer to select WinStyles when there are new ones that haven't been selected before because users can actually apply them to their computer.
There are lots of things that require moderator's attention on this site, and daily shots are probably the last thing I get to. Afterall, I'm sure people would prefer to have their uploads accepted first.
The message board gets a lot of attention too, particularly when there is a rather sensative debate to keep an eye on.
Besides, the name daily shot simply means there is a shot there every day. It doesn't necessarily mean it has to be different.
