SkinBrowser question...

Click on a skin in the broswer and there are three buttons on the right hand side. One of them is comments, click on that to view the comments and add your own

Or click on the comments tab accross the top, it brings up the same window...I missed that one

I was only seeing the comments list box (the 'add your comments' box wasn't there....really really). Oh well, I see them now.

AHA...I wasn't going goofy...I just went back to add a comment to treetog's latest submission and it had two existing comments...came back here to thank Woodbridge and when I returned to the 'Skins and Themes' section, the comments were gone and so was the bottom portion of the dialog. Odd. I hit refresh and the bottom part of the dialog showed up, but the comments are still missing (assuming there were comments to begin with). I'll try to see if I can reproduce the behavior with any consitency...

OK...closed SkinBrowser. Opened SkinBrowser, selected Skins and Themes, selected Newest Additions and clicked on the 'Unlighted' entry. It shows 0 comments (I waited a little while for it to update). It showed 2 comments a while ago (I think). Went to the Comments tab and only the first list box (comments) is shown - no refresh button - no send your comments entry field.

Checked another skin and the comments button (on the Skins and Themes tab) was enabled. Clicked it and was able to view the comments - the add your comments box was visible. Tried to add a comment but the submit button would not enable.

Is this happenning to anyone else, or am I special ...my mom says I am, but that's not what I mean

You're right...things that don't have comments on yet don't let you post the first comment, and when the comments do show up the submit button doesn't work

Well it is a beta after all. I'm sure it will be fixed in due course.

I need to get into the habit of using the SkinBroswer more...if you post using the broswer you get a little SkinBrowser icon under your post

I'm not positive but the Skin Comments may not be implemented yet (for submission).

Why does the mouse over on the skinbrowser icon state, "I supported wincustomize by purchasing the Skinbrowser." I was under the impression that the skinbrowser was FREE with a subscription? Just when I thought I understood all "this", the plot thickens?

Paid my subscription...part of the "community", want to see this site continue for all it has given in the past, and for all it's potential in the future!

Good point. Maybe it should say '... by purchasing a subscription ...'?

And now it says 'Powered by skinbrowser' so this is redundant. Please ignore.

When is the win98 version going to come out?
