Hate Steam, and D2D doesnt seem like it'll work seeing that I would be required to have a GF account.
On second thought, if the Steam version doesnt use steamworks then Id get it (meaning no mandatory updates etc.)

I wonder if that has anything to do with text enhance and all the other malware and spyware I got on my computer. Anyways, when you say someone else was trying to download it at the same time as me, do you mean to say that everytime I had tried to download it someone else was trying to download it? I tried at least a dozen times over the course of an hour.

Also, I wiped my computer recently.
Why haven't you got rid of the malware and spyware? Downloading stuff seems a bit risky when there's all that gunk clogging up your computer and abusing your privacy.
