Well, so far this season I've seen too many good shows come and go, forever to leave their story-lines hanging at cliff-hangers that will never be resolved. Also, all of us have had to deal with the horrific rash of un-inspired, cookie cutter copies, of crime drama's, medical drama's, teenage sing alongs, and scores and scores of other mediocre shows that never should have been put to film in the first place. It's time we tell the broadcasting mega-corporations that we're tired of the same old TV shows that numb our minds and mesmerize our children turning them into brain dead zombies or sluty teenage whores. Please help save the show "No Ordinary Family" by signing the petition that goes straight to ABC Studios. Here is the link to the petition:

Being a huge supporter of comic books and comic book type characters in the media, I think this show truly deserves to be on the air. I've seen every episode of it and my wife and I look forward to watching it together every week. The drama in the show is good and not over the top. The acting is top notch and the show stars "Michael Chiklis" who is probably most famous for his portrayal of "The Thing" in Marvel comics "The Fantastic Four" and as "Detective Vic Mackey" from "The Shield". There aren't enough "good" super-hero shows out there. Please help in trying to keep this one on the air where it deserves to be!!!
Once signed the petition is re-sent by e-mail to the associate broadcasting director's e-mail. It is then shown to the board of directors in charge of renewal for the current ABC line-up. I've also done some research into the petition site its-self and it is a legitimate site that has used it's petitions to actually save things and do some good.
One example is a Ohio woman who was kept out of jail over her trying to save a orphaned baby faun. The woman saved the faun from starvation in the wild but was then told by the Ohio Department of Natural Resources, Division of Wildlife that the faun had to be returned to the wild (presumably so that it could die a natural death by starvation). After the division of Wildlife was not able to intimidate the woman into doing this, they then started threatening her with 60 days jail time and a fine unless the fawn was handed over to them so that they can euthanize it and do post-mortem tests for diseases on it. They contend that she has broken the law by (1) removing the fawn from it's natural habitat instead of leaving nature to run it's course and (2) transported the deer over state borders.
The petition on this site helped keep the woman out of jail and the faun was released to a wild-life sanctuary after it was weened. The petitions on the site http://www.thepetitionsite.com do actually work and it's not one of those petition sites that no-one ever listens to. I my-self usually think on-line petitions are a waste of time and I thought none of these sites ever worked or saved anything until I saw the positive results of some of the petitions on that site and saw that some of them have indeed met their goals.
Thanks for your time and support and rest assured your e-mail Will Remain Private if you sign the petition. It only took me 2 minutes to fill out the petition and add my name to the list of it's supporters. Even if you don't particularly like the show, I would consider it a personal favor if you'd help support it with the petition so it can stay on the air.
Thank you my friends, Raven.
