How big is Elemental? How many Gigs?

I have only 4 gigs left on my hard drive. Yeah a few too many games. I thought I had enough for Elemental but when I try to download and install it, Impulse is telling me I need over 6 gigs to install and extract? HUH?

So now I have to delete some games. So is Elemental really 6 gigs? What am I not understanding? I am still new to buying games of the interent, usually I just buy them at the store.

Eh, you are going to start having problems just running Windows. You need to have free space so the system can access during use.

You really should have something like 20GB free space.

I suggest you start deleting some junk, like porn etc.

It takes 2.27 GBs on my laptop now, though I haven't played the game on it yet- it likely would expand as I played it, and as expansions came out.

 

So yeah, you'd need to delete some games you don't want to play.  Just be glad SD doesn't bloat their games like many of the big boys do- where it's 15GB, with 14 of it being mostly fluff.

Definitely delete some porn... defrag... consider getting an external hard drive... etc.

I don't see this game taking nearly 6 gigs for anyone (mine only takes up about 2.5 gigs INCLUDING mods), but it's a reasonable suggestion to recommend reserving some extra room to be safe.

Impulse requires you to have about three times the download size in space.  Also everyone is right that you need a fair amount of free space for your system.

Try make a cleaning run with ccleaner program.

Really helps cleaning up the junk created ^^

LOL, I have no Porn on my computer. Kids and wife use it as well, so don't have it' :D
