[Suggestion] Ability to select the type of upbringing your child will have

Once your child is born, the sovereign should have the ability to decide which type of upbringing the child will receive. That way you could gear your child towards more of a fighter build, or mage, etc... Basically it would offer a template stat depending on what you are planing on doing.

Some other people also mentioned it would be nice to be able to select the portrait :). If at all possible, bring up the designer would be even better! Maybe once the child reaches maturity?

I thought about this earlier. I'd be happy just being able to select their class because that seems like something one is schooled for and the sovereign would have say in how their children were educated.

Good suggestions. More customization and control of the children would make them a little more interesting (as long as there is still some randomness involved).
