The Stuff You Liked

Although I see the value in pointing out every single flaw, it's a great way to break morale of the Stardock crew. So, to help remind the world that we aren't filled with hatred of Elemental, let's point out exactly what it is that we liked about Elemental.

I, personally, love the Diplomacy tree's additional unit features. Shrill and Drath usually end up comprising the core of my armies, at least until I relegate the Drath to my sovereign's personal bodyguard. I hate using dragons, though, because I can't bring myself to put one of them into danger.

And the Adventure tree's techs that keep the world from being flooded with dozens of resources right out the start.

The art. It's like playing a painting.

The way techs unlock things on the overland map - it really feels like I'm rediscovering a world.

The fact that it's not ashamed to be a little hardcore.

And lastly, the fact that there's a great game there that just needs some TLC to scratch that MOM itch.

Love the game concept.

Love that you can design units, and all the customization options.

Love the way technology is handled.

Love that Stardock will continue to support this game far into the future!
