How many Limited Edition units were made?

Does anyone have the specific number of LE boxes that were produced? Are they in US retailers only? Are they expected to sell out relatively quick or be around for awhile? Already got mine coming in the mail, just wondering how long they'll be available for and if they're really all that rare.

I don't think Limited Edition implies that it's rare, just that it only had one production run. :P

Well I got the book from borders today and gamestop called yesterday saying my LE was in (automated message). Well they lied (should have called first, after all it is gamestop)>:(   maybe I will get to play tomorrow.

We made more as retailers requested them. But the cost of these are high so we won't be making more. I'd be surprised if there are many after Christmas.

Could you please tell us how many Limited Editions were manufactured in the end? I was under the impression the number would be 10,000 when I ordered mine. It would be good to know the actual number.

Yeah it would be cool to see how many are left. Like when I checked the Intel Core 2 Duo E8400 when it was new. It sold out quickly and it was fun to watch its numbers get lower and lower.
