Strange War Declaration Bug

I am playing as the Drengin and was at war with the Arceans. The Iconians were also at war with them at the time although we were not aligned. Strangely enough I get a message from the Iconians saying that my war with the Drath has no merit and so they declare war on me. Only problem is... I was never at war with the Drath.

I havn't seen this problem before?

Maybe the drath went to war with you that same turn? you don't always recieve a message that your at war.

I think i have seen some posts about the AI using the wrong race name in it's messages?

Well if that was the case it's still odd since if they really meant the Arceans then... they were at war with them. Why would they go to war with me saying it's an unjust war if they're fighting them too?
