Morale Bonuses?

Is there any point to keep your morale/approval at 90% rather than say, 70%? is there any kind of bonus for that?

75% is a milestone. You get a 25% population growth bonus.

Also once we have the 1.1 patch high morale (i don't remember the ammount) will give something like a 6% production bonus as well.

yeah, i'm trying to keep my morale high (at least 85%), so i usually end up never researching farm techs and not having any farms on my plents unless they're economic.
