I don't know if anyone mentioned this before, but the notification system is really... well it "got its priorities all wrong". Let me explain. The game notifies you when an orbital structure or planet item was constructed, but I really don't need to know about every single finished structure or item. On the other hand the game doesn't notify you when an enemy fleet enters one of your gravity wells or even when they start shooting you, even though that would be very important to know. This can create situations where I manage one fight after which I check on another fleet only to see it was almost wiped out. Rebellion would even notify you if you detected an enemy fleet on the way to one of your planets, so why doesn't this game?
