On the Galactic size map the AIs end up at most with 1 sector between them and the human player when only 2 AIs are in the game from the start. I have 3 saves where the both AIs are only two sectors removed from the Human and the one "empty" sector in between them is the same one. these were all version 1.04 I believe in the one 1.11 II have one Ai is two empty sectors away with the other one sector further on the other side of the first.
On all of these maps the AIs could be a minimum 4 empty sectors away from the Human sadly they are not.
That the "Galactic" map doesn't appear to be much bigger than GC IIIs large the map generator at the moment is a total disappointment to a player that wants to spend weeks exploring and not have the other AIs annoying me every turn with silly deals.
