Video Title Competition

well its not really a competition but i think ppl will have some fun with this. My friend is composing a short video for his college and we need to make it preety dope. And who knows dope but the ppl on here So theres the story its a snowboarding short film and its going to be called This Season. The main idea is to have all the other Seaon symbols involved into it too just for show. (thats what i know so far about it) It can be anything you want but it comes down to the basic idea so far... unless anybody is willing to provide there own ideas. YOur name will be put in credits if you participate. I remember watching another thread that had a box development for some persons small company... so im hoping this will work


This is a paint idea... somthing that took about 10 seconds but kinda gives an idea in a very... 2d way so ppl have fun i hope a lot of you graphic professionals are willing to give it a shot any questions either reply to this board or email me hcarbis@dccnet.com aight payce all

Do you need an opening title for the film? If so, what size does it need to be?

I think that's indeed what he wants.

The video format in North America is 720 x 540, but don't put any essential details near the edges because they can be cut on some screens.
Note that there is also a specific color palette to use for video. Certain colors really don't work well and look terrible. 

When you open a new document in Photoshop, choose NTSC in the Preset Sizes drop down. For the colors, there is also an NTSC profile you can assign, the the Image/Mode menu.

yes the one i showed took soo much time to make ... but paxx your dead right.. and you dont get what im asking you.... ahh its not an animation but if you want to make it one sure go ahead i was just looking for a picture. And the snowflake has to be "selected" cuz its a snowboarding video i dont know if you know what i mean but it makes sense to me haha.

I think he is basically looking for an opening/logo type to use as the visual for the movie.  Like what you would see on a DVD case or promotional for a movie.  It needs to highlight winter but show the other seasons.  If not, then I have no idea what he is talking about, either

well ya exactly its just the very opening too the movie. So for the snow a snowflake would look good i guess unless sombody else had a better one. So make a pic with all the symbols of the seasons(it can be whatever you want) remember this is a free for all so it doesnt need to look like the one i showed. I was hoping more people would be interested in this hehe but theres only 3 maybe even that

alright that looks a long the lines of what he wants he said no capitols to both This and Season(this season) and he doesnt want it to be too small showing... like its the title too the movie so it needs to be more showable and not to strain the eyes to see it. And it needs more things on it and not so plain looking but other than that its preety tight
