I'm new to trying Tiles as part of my Windows 10 Object Desktop suite so please be gentle.
I've checked to ensure I am running the latest version. I've labeled and configured multiple Tiles. I've moved Tiles to the edge of my second monitor (though it now thinks it is on monitor #1). I've been in and out of every option and searching this board but cannot find consistent answers to my questions so Im posing them here.
1. I pinned web address shortcuts to a Tile, but they disappeared as soon as I closed the browser. The only remedy I came up with was to create a Windows folder, save browser shortcuts in there, and then drag each shortcut to the Tile. Is there an easier way to accomplish this or a way that will include the window characteristics (size, shape, new window versus new tab, etc.) ?
2. I remain unable to pin some but not all Windows 10 applications to a Tile and have them stay there after the window is closed. For example, I was able to drag Google Chrome to a Tile but not the new Audible app. What is the secret to a consistent outcome?
3. Is there a way to sort the permanent shortcuts in each Tile? Is there a way to keep permanent shortcuts of closed apps on top and open shortcut thumbnails on the bottom or vice versa?
If this package is only intended i.e. useful, for categorizing open windows on my desktop, I would have to reorganize and reload my TILES each time I power up. I have spent hours on this Tiles app and so I am deeply hoping that is not the case and that there are straightforward helpful answers.
THANK YOU in advance for your help!
