Audio issues Escalation V2.3

Hi,

I just recently purchased this game (it seems like it is going to be excellent), however it seems to have some audio issues for me. I updated my Realtek HD drivers to the newest version and am running Nahimic 2 (latest driver as well). The issue seems to be cracks and pops when you zoom in and out with the wheel or move quickly across the map (especially at a medium distance). Is this normal? I do not have any audio issues whatsoever in other games (crystal clear in Offworld Trading Company - I am a big fan of your games). I do not want to refund this one on Steam. Do you know any fixes for this issue? I tried running the game in Direct X 11 instead of 12 and have adjusted speed down to normal (fixes I read on other forums). I am still getting the crackling. It is intermittent, but noticeable.

I am running on crazy graphic settings with everything on and AA at 2X (looks and moves fantastic). Is there anything enabled there that could be bugging out the audio? Have you experienced these issues before? (I saw a lot of similar complaints on other forums).

It is not normal (in that most don't get it) and I've not personally suffered from this. But as you say this has been an issues which has hit some people consistently throughout the games life cycle, enough that there has to be an issue or incompatibility somewhere.

Sorry, this isn't really my area so I can't think of anything you probably haven't tried. Just wanted to add a voice to say I hope you can fix it or that the devs can track this issue down.

Hmm, I haven't heard of this before. Are you able to record some footage and upload it to YouTube for us? That would help greatly in getting to the bottom of it.

The easiest example I could find was running a benchmark and capturing it (keep in mind this definitely happens in game as well, not just in the benchmark). The crackling in the speakers (headphones in my case) at 2:30 in the video is very much in line with what happens during play when I scroll or zoom too fast with multiple units on the screen.

Hi,

I have the same sound issues as propjoe. When moving camera above units or using zoom in/out, sounds starts to crack. I have SoundBlaster X-FI with newest drivers, tried it with USB Headphones too (HyperX Cloud II), Windows 10 Creators. I have tried different sound settings in Windows, tried different graphic settings in the game but issue still persists.
