Taskbar Color with Windows Blinds 10

In Windows 10, there is an option to allow a color to be automatically selected from the desktop background that will compliment the Start Menu & Taskbar. That color will adjust as the background changes. When applying a skin from Windows Blinds 10, the taskbar will become a static color according to the skin selected. Start Menu remains unaffected.

Is there a way to force the skin to use the OS color [as there is for the Start button icon]? The overall desktop appearance, imho, looks better when the taskbar & start menu match. Only way I have figured to do that is to uninstall Blinds.

When applying a skin from Windows Blinds 10, the taskbar will become a static color according to the skin selected. Start Menu remains unaffected.
Start 10 should be used with Windowblinds to get the Full theme including matching taskbar & start menue.

Just bought a new computer ... haven't installed Start 10 yet, but I will now. However, I did have it on my old system and still had that "issue." Not a big deal, but I like the Stardock software, but would really like to have my taskbar match the start menu color-wise.

No ... I didn't. How? I switched to a skin - I forget its name - that has a clear transparency so at least the desktop image shows through & matches. I was using Acrylic 7 - which I like - but it maintains its dark blue taskbar color.

Is there a setting I am missing?

If you are using both Start 10 and Windowblinds you must have something set somewhere to show Windows 10's Taskbar instead of the skin's...

-Tom / Lightstar might know something more than me about this.

No, I think you misunderstood. I AM seeing the skins taskbar. I am trying to figure a way to override that and see the color selected by Windows [for the taskbar & start menu] while ling the rest of the skin alone. It might not be possible. Right now, with Start 10 & WindowsBlinds 10 installed - and the setting in Windows to allow Windows to select a color for the taskbar & start menu enabled - I get the proper color for the start menu only, along with the full skin.

-Me myself can't understand why anyone would want either Win 10 native start menue OR Taskbar showing...

I recently bought a new computer with Windows 10...I have Start 10.. I cannot get my WindowBlinds to work..It acts like it is changing but it never does...I have uninstalled and reinstalled 3 times...I had no problems with Windows XP..My favorite download!! could someone please help

Well you CAN change the Win 10 colours to match the blind in "Personalization"...
