Regarding my first post, it seems a bit off to me that 5 or more groups of ranged troops will all be fixated on firing at a healer 200 yards away while my armored louts are surrounding them ready to chop them in half. Self preservation should override any other priority. It really becomes an unintended exploit for the human player. This is an AI that I have seen in many other games. For instance, in the Baldur's gate series, my group would pound a boss into the ground (while blowing bubbles and singing songs and stuff) as he was chasing my thief or mage around.
