Hello forum,
So I configured ModernMix to open resized windows (Windowed mode) when launching apps from the Start Menu, till' here all good.. The problem occurs when that spining animation appears on the moment the app is loading. The animation is completely "unformated" and buggy and it really loses Windows 8 sense of style and design.
This probably happens because the animation is set to run at a specific resolution(full screen) and when you set the option "windowed mode" on a third party software, like ModernMix, the resolution will change and affect the animation output.
In order to have productivity I need to have the current settings on ModernMix. So is there a way to get past this? I was thinking maybe adding a minimize button on overlay would do the trick right? Is there an option to do this? If I had this feature I wouldn't mind starting apps on fullscreen from the start menu because I could easly close, exit full screen and minimize the window with only one click.
Other option would be a way to fix the animation with the windowed resolution or deleting/disabling that spining animation.
I tried the conventional way to disable the animation via ModernMix and via Computer advanced settings > performance options, but it didn't work.
Please help me find a way to fix this problem, any help is appreciated.
I would like to point the great job the developers of Stardock did with this program, only with it, can Windows 8 reach its full potential.
Thank you for your time and patience.
Yours sincerely,
Ricardo Jacinto
