Does your Death Adepts mod work with the game or does it overwrite the game?
ie, can I play a Kingdom with Henchmen with the Death Adepts mod installed?
All of my mods work with the game 
If you are kingdom you would play with the normal henchmen as written. (Torchbearer)
If you are empire you would play with the Empire version henchman instead. (Ash Bringer)
And neither the two can meet, added the pre-req to each of these units for the particular faction you've chosen.
There are a couple of files to delete from the mod, if you didn't install the henchwomen mod (but I don't know why anyone would play without the henchwomen). They are exactly the same as their male counterparts... except female
