Hello everybody,
this is my first post here, but I've been reading quite a bit of the other posts.
So after a few hours of FE:LH there where quite a few bugs. (As expected by a Beta) So I will report these here in the hope these get fixed or I could help a little. All these bugs where during the same game (I was Altar)!
1. During the quest of the Riddler guy where I had to solve a riddle I solved it and when the reward (A twilight Bee square) should have been spawned, the game crashed instead. After reloading the auto save everything worked fine (...)
2. The Techtree bugged a little by letting the lines disappear and also the text of the Seasons that I would need to research it. Howeverhovering over the icons in their bars which were all still visible made the seasons appear and clicking on them would highlight the needed prerequisit techs. This happened to a random amount of techs in the warfare and magic techtree.
3. When I achieved enough fame for another hero (800) by opening the first gate to the pit of the lost voices I was presented with a choice as usual. I picked Krismasomething (a female with a bow on a warg (Race:Tarth)) and her unit symbol appeared. Howevershe never was spawned on the map and clicking on the portrait did nothing. (I ignored her for the rest of the playthrough since I didnt really need her anyways)
4. Shortly after that (~50 turns) the left bar with the units, cities and quests just vanished. Even reloading didnt fix that. I could still click on my units and move them also building etc was still also possible. I could play, but I couldnt use the left sidebar. Founding a new city would make it appear there again, but only that city. Same with constructing new units. Or putting them into a city and out of it. But I never saw my other cities again and also couldnt use the sidebar to navigate between my quests (which I still could solve).
5. When the random event meteor shower happened the Infernos didnt vanish after one turn like they would when you yourself would cast one. They also never vanished even when i defeated every fire spawn in my territory.
6. During this game Spell of Making victory was turned off by me. However you could still research the tech which also granted the spell "call of the titans" and you could also build all the towers of the forge and even the forge itself. The Spell of Making never showed up as expected, but the parts of the forge were displayed on the powerrating in the top right corner. Also I noticed all the other nations giving me a big -9 in the relations because "Forge of the Overlord!". Even when I demolished the main Forge (not the other 3 towers) that was still the case (the -9). I also couldn't ever build the forge again (which really bugged me since it gave a nice bonus).
7. Gilden settled right at the side of the pit of lost voices just over the Ogre Lair with Curgens Hammer in it. That made it necessary to declare war upon them and when I did I was (naturally) thrown out of their territory... only to find myself inside the pit behind the still closed 2nd door. I was trapped inside with the Enddragon and my army. Naturally I won the game by defeating him (without slaying the ogres or aquiring Curgens Hammer), but thats not the point. Getting thrown out by declaring war or by retreating should never get yourself stuck this way in impassable land. I was literally catapulted over the high mountains into the pit. Really a turnoff... as funny as it was.
8. Inside the skill tree during level up: the game preselected the first non-skilled skill. That made it look like it was skilled (it was highlighted blue). which it wasn't. I would like a different marking for that. Clicking yourself would highlight it yellow like always, but the first skill when switching tabs was still highlighted blue as if skilled. First as in the first from the top left corner.
That was all the bugs that I encountered during the first game. Well I also got some gameplay related questions. If anyone could answer these I would be pretty happy:
- When using "Tireless march" on my sovereign I noticed 2/3 moves during the same turn, meaning it didn't give me my bonus the turn I casted it. Intented?
- What happens when I use the Grain and or Food increasing Spells on my city to increase my population and then disspell them? Do all the people die because of food shortage or what? (I guess the same applies to razing buildings which give food bonus)
- Was the turn limit decreased to 400? Or did I do that when I made the game pace "Fast"
Alright that is all. Hope I could help and hopefully someone answers my questions.
Greetings from me.
