Hmm, thought I'd test this one. if you have the Task Manager open at the same time and hit 'X' it disappears from the 'Apps' list - which to me means it's been closed.

I'm wondering if what's shown by hovering in the top left corner is showing a 'history' rather than an actual 'what's running'?

That doesn't make any sense... It should be an option to fully closed. It seems to me Stardock is unable to fully close the app and came up with this silly justification...

See why what you said made no sense? I had already cleared up in the very first reply to the thread that the app is actually closing. What's shown when you hover in the top left corner is a history of what you had open, NOT what's currently running.

IMO once you close the app it should be removed from the strip (what is this called?) on the left side of the screen.  After all, Modern apps are supposed to be like desktop apps with MM.

The app is closed, look in taskmanager.

But we can look into making it stay in the list optional.

Based on the feedback it looks like we should make it remaining in the list for ease of access an optional feature in future updates.

Having it remaining on the left side is very confusing and I shouldn't have to keep checking my Task Manager to see if it is closed or not.

So far this has been a good feature for me.  I can see the most recent programs used and go back as needed. However, would be nice to an option not to do this.
