Just finsihed the quest to get Haitan his staff, he joined, and now i'm at -48 gildar (i had 10-ish before). I don't think that's supposed to happen.

edit: Actually.. i remember getting a popup for a treaty in between somewhere that i didn't read (i just wanted to click okay on the quest stuff and it popped up in between). Might have been a stronger AI demanding  money beforehand.

I should have put that one up among the top 5 annoyances in gameplay - Wholly unrelated Popups coming up while you're handling a Quest.
