Who in their right mind would bundle incompatible products for two different OS's in one bundle?
Sigh.
The 'bundle' is in a constant state of transition/development, just as Microsoft's products are.....the latter demands the former.
'sleazy', 'debacle', 'jaded', and 'wary' are all quite 'colourful' but the discount offer of the OD subscription is a far more economical option for the consumer than individual purchases, whether only those currently supporting 8 or not.
Object Desktop's 'currency' with whatever new MS OS has been released has always been misunderstood and complained about...at every new OS release.
If you were to wait until ALL included applications had specific compatibility to a new OS you would still have to be cognisant that just around the corner there will be yet another new OS ...or at least a 'problematic' service pack requiring OD to undergo yet further revision.
wmcivor ...if you have had a 'soft sport' for Stardock since OS2 days....even after all those years you appear to not have understood the concept of what is an on-going subscription to OD's updating service.
